NDP is an integrated and proven payment system that is revolutionising Dental Payment Plans, improving treatment acceptance, patient satisfaction, and practice profits. Finance options are provided by humm and Zip. NDP is developed with dentists, for dentists. It offers patients the opportunity to spread treatment costs over time, while the dentist receives full payment upfront, and is accessible anywhere over a secure, cloud-based platform.
NDP benefits any practice no matter the practice management software used. However, being fully integrated into Centaur’s Dental4Windows dental software, it does deliver the added benefit of seamless integration into your current system and processes. Once a patient has applied and is approved, you get paid upfront and the credit provider takes responsibility for managing the payment plan, contacting the patient directly for any missed payments or to alter debit times.
With humm:
Your patients pay an establishment fee of $70 per plan and a $9.95 monthly fee per plan for the duration of their payment plan. They pay no interest on repayments whatsoever, and the establishment fee can even be spread over the term of their payment plan. At any time, they can also opt to fully pay out their plan with no penalties or additional costs.
With Zip Money:
For new Zip Money customers a one-off establishment fee up to $99 may apply along with a $9.95 monthly account fee, waived if nothing owing at the end of each month. Patients can apply for up to $30,000 and will receive up to 48 months interest free for transactions made via NDP.* Any balance outstanding at the expiry of the interest free period will be charged at the standard variable interest rate, 25.9% per annum, as at 1 June 2023. Patients can opt to fully pay out their plan with no early repayment fees or additional costs.
The application process is simple, efficient, and only takes a few minutes to complete.

With humm, if they do not have sufficient funds in their nominated account, the Direct Debit will be reattempted on the same day that the bank notifies us that it has been unsuccessful (except on non-business days). If the payment is unsuccessful again, we will then attempt to contact the patient via phone, email, SMS and post to re-establish the payment plan. Late fees apply.
With Zip Money, if a patient doesn’t repay their minimum monthly repayment amount each month (or the remaining balance if less), a late fee of $15 for Zip Money may be charged. If a direct debit repayment is rejected or fails, a $5 dishonour fee may also be charged to their zip money account.
